  • Stop food waste -only buy and cook what you need. Freeze any unused food.
  • Go shopping with a list

  • Make full use of your Green bin
  • Compost garden and kitchen waste for reuse in the garden
  • If you dont want to compost waste at home, use your Brown bin
  • Use the Civic Amenity centre in Ballymount
  • Recycle glass bottles in one of the Bring Bank centres located around the village
  • Pass on goods you no longer use on www.freetradeireland.ie or www.jumbletown.ie
  • Contact Clondalkin Community Recycling Initiative to recycle WEEE items, like old computers, tv's, basically anything with a plug or battery.

 

BALLYMOUNT CIVIC AMENITY

 

South Dublin County Council's Waste Disposal & Recycling Facility Household waste including recyclable materials & large bulky items may be taken to the Civic Amenity centre in Ballymount.

  • Mon-Fri 09:30-17:00
  • Saturday 09:00-17:30
  • Sunday 09:30-17:00
  • Bank Holidays 09:30-17:00

 

The following charges apply:

 

Domestic Waste & Large Bulky Items (furniture, carpets and household hazardous waste)

 

  • Car only - €15
  • Car Van/Estate Car - €21
  • Cars & Small box trailer - €35

 

Green Waste

 

  • Car only - €8
  • Car Van/Estate Car - €12
  • Cars & Small box trailer - €25

 

All other recyclable materials will be accepted free of charge.
