Local Students get involved with Tidy Towns

Up to 50 Transition Year students and teachers from Colaiste Bride in Clondalkin joined Clondalkin Tidy Towns on Tuesday 30th April 2013. The students set off from the school at 9am with the aim to pick litter from Clondalkin Leisure Centre and Corkagh Park. The group was led by teacher Kathryn Spillane and we would like to thank her for getting the students involved.

Clondalkin Tidy Towns supplied pickers, bags, gloves and bibs. It is intented that the students will carry out similar clean up's every week from now until the Summer holidays and we will continue this great work next year also. We will be working closely with Colaiste Bride and all other schools in Clondalkin on litter picks and special projects.  Students from Colaiste Chilliain and Moyle Park will be joining us very shortly.
